Guillaume Levannier is appointed Sustainable Investment Officer
SCOR Investment Partners, the SCOR group’s portfolio management company, has strengthened its organization and commitment as a sustainable investor through the nomination of Guillaume Levannier to the newly-created role of Sustainable Investment Officer. Guillaume Levannier will report to Fabrice Rossary, Chief Investment Officer.
In his new position, Guillaume Levannier will support SCOR Investment Partners’ sustainable investment approach and will be in charge of strengthening the firm’s sustainable investment policy. Guillaume will implement a consistent sustainability framework in the management of all investment strategies of SCOR Investment Partners and facilitate the integration of sustainability into all investment processes. As Sustainable Investment Officer, Guillaume will also develop new tools for more precise measurement of the non-financial impact of investments undertaken by the asset management company.
Guillaume Levannier, 31 years old, joined SCOR Investment Partners after six years with the SCOR group, fourth global reinsurer and parent company of the asset management firm. Following his entry into the group as a financial analyst in January 2014, Guillaume was appointed advisor to SCOR group’s Chief Executive Officer, Denis Kessler, in March 2016. In January 2019, Guillaume joined the Group Investment Office, under the direction of Michèle Lacroix. Guillaume then became primarily responsible for questions related to sustainable investment practices, the economics of climate change and the management of financial and non-financial risks. In this regard, Guillaume contributed to numerous papers discussing the relationship between environmental and financial risks. Guillaume has also been a member of the Group’s internal social responsibility committee since its inception in 2018.
